Step 3: Account and subscription
Create your Office Claws account from the terminal and activate a subscription.
Create an account
1. Run:
officeclaws register2. Answer the prompts:
Email: [email protected]
Name: Alex
Password (min 8 chars): ********
The password is shown as you type it. This is on purpose, so that pasting long passwords works reliably. Make sure nobody is looking at your screen.
You should see:
Registered and logged in as [email protected].
Next: subscribe at https://officeclaws.com/pricing, then run `officeclaws onboard`.
You are now logged in. The session is stored in your system keychain, and the CLI renews it automatically.
Subscribe
Creating an account is free, but you need an active subscription to create an agent.
1. Run:
officeclaws subscribeThis opens the checkout page in your browser, already linked to your account. If the browser doesn't open, copy the link from the terminal.
2. Pay on the checkout page.
To see the checkout page in another language, add --locale. Supported values are en, de, es, fr, ru, and zh:
officeclaws subscribe --locale deImportant: subscribe with
officeclaws subscribe, not just from the website. The link it opens connects the payment to your account. If you already paid from the website with the same email address, it will usually be matched automatically. If not, contact support.
3. Continue to the next steps. The subscription is checked when you create an agent. If the payment hasn't been processed yet, officeclaws onboard stops right away with "This account has no active subscription". Nothing on your server changes. Wait a minute and run it again.
Logging in on another computer
officeclaws loginLogging out
officeclaws logoutlogout also deletes your saved Contabo, Tailscale, and SSH credentials from this computer. To keep them, run officeclaws logout --keep-credentials.
